Healing through Friendship

God loves friendship and He is moved when we put other people's needs before our own.Your faith will determine your outcome and the outcome of your friends and family. Jesus is moved by our faith! Faith is more than just believing. To activate your faith you have to put action behind it.

Our faith small or big mixed in with steps of action will produce Jesus moving mountains for us. I'm sharing with you a miracle that moved Jesus. The reason why Jesus was moved is because of love for a friend. It was more than just that you see; the supernatural happens when we activate our faith; through action. The heavens open up and God's word comes to life. God is waiting on us to read our bibles or hear the word of God through a messenger such as myself and He is waiting for us to not only have faith but action through faith.

Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town. Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven. Matthew 9:1-2 (NIV)

Jesus saw love, faith and action through these men who brought their friend!

So he said to the paralyzed man, Get up, take your mat and go home.” Then the man got up and went home. When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man. Matthew 9:6-8 (NIV)

I think sometimes we overlook a scriptures and don't see the whole picture. I'm sure the paralyzed man wasn't light and I'm sure they had to travel a distance to meet up with Jesus.

This takes faith! To believe that something is going to happen for a friend have and have no guarantee. That's a friendship built on love!

Do you want all of your prayers answered?

Jesus gave us His commandment in Matthew 22. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. Matthew 22:37-40 (NIV)

So by loving God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind we keep the greatest commandment however the second commandment is to Love your neighbor as yourself. To release God's word in your life we have to stop thinking just about our own life and we need. We need to extend this love over our friends. That means we pray for them and we not only have faith for their needs but we put action behind it.

I tell you watch God move in your life when we put other people above our own needs and mix God's word with faith and action to see their needs be met. Watch God open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that you can not contain. Because God saw your heart.

I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn't have to destroy the land, but I found no one. Ezekiel 22:30 (NIV)

God wants us to not only pray for our need but to lift up the needs of others. He wants us to stand in the gap for our loved ones. It’s His commandment.

The reason why I shared this message is that we need to be there for our friends and family as we lift up our needs to the Lord. We often get caught up in ourselves and not think about others. We want Jesus to be moved by our faith just like He was moved by the paralyzed man's friends.

Are you going through something?

Maybe you need a miracle whether it’s a healing, mending a relationship or even a new job. Now that I’ve got you thinking about yourself; NOW STOP and think about one of your friends or a family member who is going through something and not only stand in faith for your needs but also for theirs. This is where God comes in supernaturally and works miracles in your life for putting others before your needs. This is where your faith in Christ produces miracles for your friends and family.
