Releasing your breakthrough in The Courts of Heaven

Praying in The Courts of Heaven is a powerful way to release your breakthrough and receive the answers to your prayers. The courts of heaven are a spiritual realm where believers can go to present their petitions and requests before our Heavenly Father and His Righteous Son Jesus Christ.

In the Bible, The Courts of Heaven are described as a place where God's justice and righteousness are upheld (Psalm 89:14) and where the righteous can receive their reward (2 Timothy 4:8). It is also a place where believers can receive answers to their prayers and breakthrough in areas of their lives where they have been struggling (Psalm 37:4).

Psalm 89:14 (NLT)

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Unfailing love and truth walk before you as attendants.

2 Timothy 4:8 (NLT)

And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.

Psalm 37:4 (NLT)

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.

To pray in The Courts of Heaven, you will need to focus on the Blood of Jesus and the finished work of the cross. The Blood of Jesus has powerful cleansing and redeeming properties, and it is through His Blood that we are able to enter the courts of heaven and have our prayers heard.

Luke 18:1-8 (NLT)

One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. 2 “There was a judge in a certain city,” he said, “who neither feared God nor cared about people. 3 A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’ 4 The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, 5 but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’” 6 Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. 7 Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”

Here is a simple prayer that you can use to release your breakthrough in The Courts of Heaven: Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before you in the courts of heaven and present my petition before you (whatever it is). I declare that the Blood of Jesus has cleansed me and made me worthy to enter your presence. Jesus will you tell me where this accusation came from... what legal right has opened this doorway? (When Jesus shares with you what the problems are then bring them before him individually, try not to group the problems and come before Jesus as friend and father to heal the issues that Jesus shared with you. Don't forget to forgive! You even might want to use our Spiritual Warfare Training through Self Inner Healing for the restoration process when Jesus reveals the legal right). I ask that you hear my prayer and release my breakthrough in the area of [specific area of need]. (Once Jesus heals the issue and you get your confirmation then thank the Lord) I trust in your goodness and faithfulness, and I thank you for answering my prayer and giving me a verdict in your favor. Amen.

1 John 2:1 (NLT)

My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.

Hebrews 4:16 (NIV)

Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Isaiah 43:26(NLT)

Let us review the situation together, and you can present your case to prove your innocence.

Revelation 12:10 (NKJV)

Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

Remember to keep your focus on the Blood of Jesus and the finished work of the cross as you pray in the courts of heaven. This will give you access to the power and authority of God and enable you to receive your breakthrough.

May you experience the blessings and favor of the Lord as you release your breakthrough in the courts of heaven.

Blessings,

Pastor Timothy Tomlinson
