Word of Knowledge for a Woman Sailor
Join Pastor Timothy as he shares about a word of knowledge for a woman sailor who is sharing her faith, seeing physical miracles and gaining favor to start a healing ministry on the water off her sailboat.
WHAT IS THE GIFT OF THE WORD OF KNOWLEDGE?
In listing the spiritual gifts, the Bible speaks about the gift of the “word of knowledge.” Paul wrote the following to the Corinthians.
To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:8 NIV).
The Word Of Knowledge, therefore, is knowledge received from the Holy Spirit to enable us to more effectively minister to the needs of people, to know and understand situations, circumstances, strategies of the enemy (kingdoms of darkness), etc. It enables us to knowhow to speak in the above situations with a knowledge that can surprise, baffle, dis-arm, open-up, bring answers, healing and understanding.
All these gifts are of the Holy Spirit, and are Spirit-inspired. They are supernatural in nature, to help the Spirit-filled believer to bring the presence and reality of the Living Christ into a situation, as well as to bring answers to humanity — both individually and collectively.
When we pass on a Word of Knowledge to others, there is in operation at that one delivery more than just the Word of Knowledge. For example, there can be:
The Word of Knowledge (the information or ministry to pass on);
The Word of Wisdom (knowing the time and place to give it);
The Gift of Discerning of Spirits (depending on the message and circumstances, Discerning of Spirits helps you to know the spirit of the person you are to minister to);
The Gift of Prophecy (some Words of Knowledge come out to congregations in prophecy);
The Gift of Faith (it takes that to make known spiritual or supernaturally gained knowledge about others!);
The Gifts of Healing (where a Word of Knowledge involves the physical condition of a person);
The Working of Miracles (where there is a miraculous confirmation straight away of the Word of Knowledge given).
